Your donation will help to empower opportunity for women and children in the areas where we work.

You can give the gift of giving by making a one-time donation on behalf of yourself or another.   To make donation on behalf of somebody else, simply make the donation online and then send a follow-up e-mail to   We will then send a personalized card to the recipient of your choosing informing them that a donation has been made in their name.

Project Humanity is a 501(c)3 organization dedicated mission to advance the cause of women’s empowerment in Africa through international volunteerism.  We believe the health, literacy, and access to finance are the three fundamentals necessary for any woman to succeed as such, we’re working hard in Kenya and Zambia on building programs in these three areas.  Our prenatal care program encourages women to get regular check-ups at a local clinic or hospital as a means to delivering a healthy baby and to prevent the transmission of HIV from mother to child.   To date over 600 moms have benefited.  Our mico finance program is helping 18 small businesses on Rusinga Island.  And in partnership with the African Library Project and Rong University, we opened 32 libraries in Homa Bay and Migori counties in southwest Kenya in 2017, and we’re working to open another 60 in 2018.

Project Humanity’s work in Africa, however, begins at home. Running even a small operation like ours requires continuous funding to pay for such things as web site operations, insurance, administration, accounting and tax filings, travel, marketing, and the like.   Your donation will go towards covering the day-to-day expenses associated with running the organization through 2017.   You can read more about our mission, strategy, and goals on our about us page.

Thank you for your contribution and your willingness to empower opportunity!   And please remember, donations are tax deductible.
