Rich Madison

Rich is a strong advocate for international volunteerism and believes travel and public service provide some of the best means for life-long learning.  Rich has traveled extensively throughout Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. He has performed volunteer and humanitarian service work in South Africa, Kenya, Tanzania, and Peru.  In addition to serving as PH’s COO, Rich has an additional focus on leading PH’s literacy and micro finance programs.

Rich’s work experience includes program and team management for such organizations as the Conference of State Bank Supervisors (CSBS), UnitedHealth Group, American Public University System, AOL, and the U.S. Navy.  Degrees include M.A. in Management, and B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies, both from American Military University.

When not working Rich enjoys mid-distance running (10 miles to half-marathons) and hanging out at interesting coffee houses or micro-breweries.  Fun fact: He’s been to every state in the U.S. except WI (what’s up with that?).
